The chamber is comprised of people who are committed to improving the economic climate and quality of life in the Greater Ronkonkomas. The strength of our Chamber of Commerce lies in the size and diversity of its membership. Both large and small businesses from virtually every profession are represent. The members ARE the Chamber.
Welcome to Ronkonkoma!
Dear Business Colleagues and Neighbors,
“What’s new about the New Year? The New Year is not just a ritual. It is the celebration of new hopes and dreams. It is an opportunity to start with a clean slate.”
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce, we wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
The weather cooperated with us for our Annual Christmas Tree and Menorah Lightings. Thank you Dunkin Donuts for the hot chocolate for both events, Windows on the Lake for the latkes and of course Craig denHartog from Christmas Décor for decorating our tree. Great big thanks to Cherokee and Nokomis Elementary School choirs for gracing Raynor Park with their beautiful voices. And it wouldn’t be a Christmas Tree Lighting without our resident DJ, Tony Mingoia from Now and Then Entertainment. And last but certainly not least the Ronkonkoma Fire Department and the Islip Horsemens Association for escorting Mr. & Mrs. Claus to the park.
The Chamber hopes that 2016 brings a year of partnership… with our members, our neighboring Chambers of Commerce, the Town and the County. By all working closely together we can continue to bring great things to our town and surrounding community.
The Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce strives to continue to bring value to our fellow Chamber members and business partners. The Chamber’s door is always open and we look forward to chatting with you on ways the Chamber can help your business, family, or organization. Feel free to contact me personally at 631-737-0489. We are all part of Ronkonkoma and together we all have something to offer and something to gain. I invite YOU to get involved and be a part of it.
In closing I want to thank our members, Chamber of Commerce supporters, hosts, sponsors, advertisers, volunteers and donors. We could not have done it without you. Whatever part you played in our 2015 success was greatly appreciated!
That’s it for now. Until next month, be well And remember… Use local businesses whenever you can.
President, Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce
